Peltier element in Heat Transfer module

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I'm trying to model a laser diode module, which is cooled by a peltier module. All parts are real, and all I know about the peltier is its characteristics (maximum inverse temperature difference vs max transported heat). I have tried various methods to model this effect, but i'm stuck. All I need is to correlate the boundary temperatures and the heat flow. Negative thermal conductivity seemed good until it is a constant negative value, but i cant find a way to make it dependent.

I'm not very familiar with the weak constrains concept, so if someone can help me corralate the temperature difference of two boundaties and the heat flowing through them, please help.

Thanks
Tamas
