temperature range, naturel convection

Hi, I'm new to the analysis of problems in COMSOL.

I simulate a problem 2d of natural convection in a rectangular cavity (I use the non-isothermal flow physical interface under COMSOL 4.0a).

The configuration is defined by a cold temperature (Tc) in the entry of the domain and a portion of the lower border is carried in a hot temperature Th (in the medium of this border).
My problem is: In laminar flow, the range of the temperature lies between the cold temperature and the hot temperature.

By against, in the turbulent regime the case of my study, is not the case. The range of the temperature lies between the cold temperature and a maximum temperature Tmax which is much lower than the temperature Th than I imposed.

I do not know which is the error that occurs when I pass from the laminar mode to the turbulent mode. Can you please help me to this problem?
