Dear Sir
Hope you will be fine. I am using comsol for finding the stress and strain in mems beams. I have the problem that what should i use for longitudinal stress in solid mechanics analysis. At the moment i am using stress tensor in that direction either x or y- axis. Second problem is that the value is very high. The strain magnitude is of 10^4 times. while the structure itself is 75um. So this may be due to scaling. Please guide me how can i access the actual values.
