Finding the maximum temperature on a surface

Hi,

Suppose that I have a temperature distribution on a surface after computing using different boundary and initial conditions. How do we determine the maximum and minimum temperature on the surface(i.e to find the exact location and exact temperature value)?

Hi

one way is to search the Forum, it has been discussed a couple of times, on the plots you have a right click more min-max plot you might add

then you have the min max operators, and the less known Definitions coupling operators min1(T,x) to get the x, respectively y,z,r location of the maximum of T over the selected domain or boundary or whatever
