How to calculate the acoustic modes by COMSOL???

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

We can calculate the optical modes by RF module in COMSOL . But I did not know how to calculate the acoustic modes which is produced by Brillouin scattering. ?Would you please give me more detailed description or some detailed calculation explanation ? I have read some paper--"Two-dimensional FEM Analysis of Brillouin Gain Spectra in Acoustic Guiding and Antiguiding Single Mode Optical Fibers" and "Modeling Brillouin Gain Spectrum of Solid and Microstructured Optical Fibers Using a Finite Element Method" But I did not know how to calculate the Brillouin acoustic modes and Brillouin Gain Spectrum by COMSOL. Please help me!!!
You can E-mail: chengtonglei@163.com. Thank you very much!
