Hi everyone,

I´m Giulio. Currently I´m involved in an University project regarding the modelling of AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy). Is anyone here that treats the same matter? Maybe we can keep in touch and confront each other...

Thank You
Giulio

Hi there,
Im modelling the damping mechanisms of AFM cantilevers using comsol 4.1. Basically it is heat dissipation from the material, fluid damping from the environment and coupling effects with the support.
I've been using the structural mechanics module, heat module, pressure accoustics module for frequency analysis and eigenfrquency analysis.
