Introducing the Application Builder in COMSOL Multiphysics

Duration: 11:51

You can use the Application Builder in COMSOL Multiphysics to customize simulation apps for employees, coworkers, and customers to use with ease. To help get you started building apps, we show you three demo apps in this video to introduce you to some of the features within the Application Builder: the Form Editor, Form objects and layout, and the Method Editor.

You will see each demo app in action and learn a bit about it before we go behind the scenes of building apps in the Application Builder. We show you how parts of the app were created, including creating a new form, modifying layouts with drag-and-drop, and recording code. After watching the video, you will have a better understanding of the inner workings of apps and how they are created, and perhaps a few ideas for your own apps.

The Heat Sink With Fins, Truck Mounted Crane Analyzer, and Corrugated Circular Horn Antenna are just three of 20 apps available inside the Application Library in COMSOL Multiphysics 5.1. The apps are varied across the application area and products used, and you may access all of them, no matter which modules you have licenses for. Once you have upgraded your software, you can open, inspect, and modify the demos to help you build your own simulation apps.
