Two-Pole Three-Phase Induction Motor

This model illustrates how to compute the torque of a three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor at various speed. The torque is computed by averaging 2D calculation performed at several location along the induction motor. The full geometry is created in PTC® Creo® ParametricTM and transferred to COMSOL Multiphysics® with the use of LiveLinkTM . As the geometry information, material selection are also transferred to help the set-up.
