I am using comol 5.5. Can you please help me to create a shorted coil of 10 turns in comsol with current 1A.

I tried the helix. but i cannot short the ends.

Hi,

I don't see how it would be physically possible to short a coil and maintain a current under stationary conditions. You can apply a 1A current excitation to the coil. If you want a short you can apply a 0V voltage excitation.

Cheers Edgar
