Adding electrical circuit in a Laminated busbar model

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I'm modelling a basic planar busbar with an insulation layer in between the positive and negative layers. I need to add an electric circuit to this model. The circuit consists of a dc voltage source, connected across a resistor. Here instead of the wires connecting the source and the resistor, I need to use the positive and negative layers of the laminated busbar.

I have added a screenshot of the model for reference. In that, P1, P2 are the terminals of the positive layer and N1, N2 represents terminals of the negative layer. The dc source is connected across P1, N1 and resistor across P2, N2. I have also included a small basic figure of the circuit that I'm trying to build, within the screenshot.

I know I need to use 'External I vs U' in the Electric Circuit section, but I'm not sure how to do this. Can anyone help?

Regards Aravind
