derivative help seeking...!!

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi...
This seems like a very stupid question but...
if I want to express let's say dc/dx...can I write d(c,x) or cx with no differences?
When I use d(c,x) it doesn't give me any error...but when I use cx...it gives me an error that says "failed to evaluate the Jacobian".

Anybody has any idea??Is it right if I use d(c,x)?

Thanks a lot folks

Cecilia
