flc1hs - Heaviside Function

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello everybody,

2 short questions (regarding Comsol version 4):

1) May I use the heaviside functions with a parametric solver, or only with a time dependent solver?

2) May I incorporate a heaviside function into the expression for Ws, which is the strain energy function?

Thank you and have a lovely day,
Tal

Hi

For me you can use any function for any value, we use often Heaviside functions to smoothen time steps, but it can be as well used for another variable, replace t by T in the call and normally its done, no ?

Good luck
