Dear all,

I have been trying to install the COMSOL 4.0 in Ubuntu System as a client, but when I try do get the license.dat on the server (Windows XP) I have the message: "Invalid License". To get the license.dat I provided the port number and the host name and then clicked in Check button. I had read the install instructions to use floating networking license, but I did not a solution.

Does any one has an idea of how to solve this problem?

Thanks
Flavio

Check your firewall settings, or temporarily disable to diagnose. Also, ensure that your computer actually sees the hostname, using an IP might work better.
