Plasticity in saline materials - Damage in saline materials

Dear all,

I've been working with salt-type materials for a few weeks. They are materials with both peculiar properties. They are apparently solid but have soil-like properties.

In any case, for the purposes of modeling its behavior in COMSOL, the following doubt arises. When I use the "Plasticity" subnode I am modeling a material in which its elastic modulus, once the yield stress is reached, deteriorates and therefore permanent deformations occur when the load ceases (attached image example of elasticity modulus versus deformation axial from a real test). This is something that COMSOL takes into account in the "plasticity" calculation process (?).

Another question. When the plastic zone is exceeded and we exceed the maximum stress peak, the plasticity modulus is still valid or I have to use a "damage" subnode (?). I have this doubt because I have a mathematical expression that perfectly defines both the evolution of the modulus of elasticity vs. strain and the stress-strain relationships, even up to failure.
