Solver - Using previous solution then altering one initial condition

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

My time-dependent, 2D-axisymmetric flow & thermal model has poorly defined initial conditions and one domain which has a large temperature step (initial condition). Producing a solution without the large step is easy and resolves all my other poor initial values. Even with smoothing, the large step makes solving too difficult. My goal is to use the 'easy' solution as the initial values of a new solver step PLUS define the initial temperature values of that one domain as that difficult value. I see no other way to define a domain's temperature besides initial condition.

How can I use a solution as my Solver Step Initial Values but then also redefine only one of my model's initial values?
