cardiac model - current density due to external current

Hi, I am modelling the defibrillation of heart. The heart was modelled using coefficient form pde and the torso was defined in ec domain. I am injecting cuurent into the torso through a rectangular area. I have defined this current using normal current density in ec domain. This current then reaches into the heart. How can this injected current that reaches the heart, can be included in the equations for heart? I added ec.Jx+ec.Jy+ec.Jz in the source term with the equations of heart and doesnt seems to work. Thanks in advance NIkhil!
