Electrical Circuit - Diode

Hello

I'm tring to simulate a pulse generator using the electrical circuit physics. I have a capacitor with a certain initial voltage, and, in parallel with the capacitor, a resistor and inductance in series.

Yet, as in the archived post in the link above, I'm unable to find consistent initial values when I add a diode.

It appears that this happens when, for t=0, the diode is supposed to be conducting. When I flip it or provide an initial voltage U<=0 across it, the simulation runs well.

Any advice?

Thanks
