ac/dc module and joule heating

This is probably the simplest question ever.
I have a quasi-magnetostatic problem solved with the AC/DC modules and I have obtained the voltages and the magnetic field produced by a simple wire distribution.
Now, I would like to connect my results with the joule heating effect and evaluate the temperature of the wires and the surrounding volume.
I've been trying with the comsol 4.1 joule heating module, however i can not obtain any result. in fact I do not connect both modules by any variable or similar.
Please can anyone show me an example about it or something similar. i've been looking for something related with thsi topic in the literature and i have not succeed.
